Hi all!

I've been thinking about getting an electric smoker and have been doing some research. The Pro Smoker Classic 100S looks like a really nice rig. I like the fact that it's digitally controlled and can also smoke at low temps without any add-ons. Problem is, I can't find a lot in the way of reviews or user experience. I've found some stuff on the PK 100, which is now retired.

I'd love to hear if anyone has any experience or opinions!

Thanks!

Do not have one, but they do look nice. Welcome to the forum. You may have seen this thread already, but it mentions your smoker. Lot of great smokers out there, just depends what you want to make. Many have several smokers, all for a different task.

Thanks, I didn't catch this post. I'll read it now!

I had an electric metal cabinet smoker at one time. A Smokin-It 3.5. I sold it as I didn't like the way it cooked. I thought that number one, it didn't get enough air flow through the box and this caused the air inside to box to retain too much moisture. Second, I didn't like that the smoker cooked way too quickly and didn't impart much smoke flavor to the food. That said, it was well built and easy to clean up. It also had a very good control system. Not sure if this helps you at all. I really love my Stump's Baby smoker which is an offset charcoal smoker. Really puts out some great Q. Hope this helps you.

S, I've had a PK100 for 11 years and love it, I do a lot of sausage/cheese and the lower temps are perfect for that . My only complaint is it only goes up to 250*. I maybe wrong but the new ones may go to 300 * ??
