Hello,

I have a Masterbuilt Cookmaster, its a single door propane smoker. I am having some trouble keeping the flame lit with the wind here in Iowa. Since the wind is usually present I need to find a way around it. I was thinking of stacking construction/foundation block two levels high or so around the smoker. Has anyone else had to do this or something similar for wind issues? What works best?

Thanks in advance.

I actually got one of those shade tech tents that you use for tailgating, attached a wind shield on one side, and bob's your uncle.

The blocks will work and I've seen people use 3 pieces of plywood for a windblock.
