From what I've seen, there isn't a regulator assembly with needle valve that you can purchase and install as easily has installing a needle valve yourself. It's a pretty fast process that I'd say takes maybe 10 minutes going slowly, including the time it takes to do a soapy water leak test.Hello - im new to the forum and have a question. I wanted to know if there is a regulator assembly that has a needle valve already on it I can buy or do I have to add the needle valve on myself? Thanks Eric.
When I did mine, I saw posts 21 and 23 in this thread: http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/t/188229/needle-valve-mod/20 and I liked the idea of adding more length to my propane hose so I went with that. I'm really happy with my setup and I can nail the common cook temps like 225, 250, 275 without any issue. Is there any certain brand you recommend?
No problem! What did you end up going with? The Bayou Classic valve, or the LASCO one?I ordered the parts today. Thank you for helping me fix this problem, I really appreciate it!!!
