Used to like Campbells, but they discontinued it. Progresso doesn't have much flavor.

Just a tomato stew with clams, correct?

We like the creamy New England version and make it, but not a thing wrong with tomato stewed clams.

Bill, thanks for the inspiration! My non-fish-eating wife is traveling this week. I love fish, and now I'm going to make a nice pot of red clam chowder, or fish chowder, or something red with a lot of fish in it! Trader Joe's has a frozen fish medley that has clams, scallops, shrimp, and chunks of white fish. I've already started a loaf of bread. Guess where I'm headed?
