Y'all never tried a hottub in February in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin or the Dakotas huh? Go from a hottub to two feet or more of snow and back into the hottub. It's great. Side note, I do this at others people's houses. I'd never own one.

Hot tubs in the winter are awesome!

A little Fathers day gift! I've always wanted one of these.

15 amp. Two speed 13"planer. With mobile stand, infeed and outfeed tables. Extra set of knifes, and a Wixey digital display.

Nice . That should have the auto lock on it to . Mines manual , and I have to unlock the head for adjustment . No biggie , but the automatic would be nice .
You'll like that , but if you have never used one be careful . I always like to get the table above waist height for kick back reasons . I also try to stand off to the side .
There's an in feed and an out feed roller on those . The piece needs to be long enough to catch the out feed roller before it leaves the in feed .

Yup. It has an autolock. I've used planers before. Just never owned one. The shortest planks I'll be planing are 24". For noodle and cutting boards. This'll give me room if I get any snipe. Now I'm waiting for parts for sawdust/chip collection.

They do make a mess! This has a chip ejection blower on it that supposed to do a good job at reducing the mess.

I run a 1100 cfm dust collector all piped in 4" spiral duct , with a dual stage collection can .
Big stuff falls into the can , fine dust goes into the vac bag .

I've run the planer off both .

Neck down 2 1/2 adapter for a shop vac .

You won't get much if any mess if you hook a vac to it .
I also have a second stage setup for the shop vac .
What parts are you waiting on ?

With this planer. Using a shop vac isn't recommended. According to what I've read. Because it'll over come it. I have the 4"flex line and clamps. Waiting for the 30 micron bag and mount for it. I'll still get dust in the air. But I use a mask.

I see it has the bag that goes right on the machine .
I have a 30 micron on my dust collector . Not much notable dust in the air .
That should work great . I bet you don't see much dust . It will tell the story when you fire i up and see how much the bag inflates .

Ran it over the weekend. Blows up the bag nicely. And hardly any dust that I could see. And very little chips. Nice unit!

Good . I don't see much out of my system . I'll get just a bit when the bag first inflates .
I have an overhead exhaust fan that keeps the air pretty clean , but also setup a box fan to help .
Made a frame and screwed it to the fan .

Left enough room to slide in a furnace filter .

Actually works pretty good . I run the fan so it draws through the filter first .

Nice planer!!!
I made an extension table of Corian for the one I had.
It was 6' long.
Just slid it in.
It had a couple horizontal bars on the bottom that would drop down past the ends of the existing tables and would hold it in place.
Was a lot easier doing longer pieces and didn't have to worry about any falling on floor.

Back in the day I got a used Hot Tub.
Put it on the back deck.
Remember having a snow storm and jumping in it , topped off with a nice cold beer.
Watching the stars on a clear night.
It’s gone now along with the old deck!
Got a nice new pool with a new deck.
Trying to open it up now.
Draining water out of the winter cover
Lost a lot of water!
Hope to get it running in the next few days.
