darn good enough for a work bench!
Yeah , looks good . That will make a nice bench . Nice drill press too . They're so handy .
This is messy , but it works for wide stuff . 1 1/2 PVC . A couple test plugs and some rolls of sandpaper . Spray glue the paper on the PVC .

Use the test plugs in the ends , one with a long bolt and one with a short bolt .
I have a wood handle that goes on the short side .

Long side chucks up in a drill . I had one that was 3 ' wide . Blank handle
on the short side so you can hold it .

That was before I bought this . 16/32 overhead drum sander .

Lol! Yup. I made a few of those before. But with the short/narrow surface contact. I could never get a smooth surface, More like a pond with a light breeze!. Now the drum sander is something I looked at before. Now that I have room. Maybe that. Or a planner will happen.

That drum sander is one of the best things I bought . Wanted the 19/38 but didn't want to wait . Use it way more than the planer . Planer works good for cleaning up boards to size . The stuff I buy is rough sawn . No finished edges .

It's nice to have a setup that you can walk into and fix or build something .

Very nice Steve. And great setups to @civilsmoker and Rich. You Guys are way more skilled than me, lol. Steve, can't wait to see the finished product.

Almost done for this year. Still need to finish the floor trim. And next year I'll do the ceiling. I kept the trim simple for a rustic look.

I used knot tight paint grade pine to keep the cost down. The price of wood is stupid!

NICE STEVE, EVERYTHING IS JUST SO DARNED TIDY! I'D BE EMBARRESSED TO SHOW MY GARAGE, CAN'T FIND ANYTHING THESE DAYS. RAY

Looking great, Steve!! I have a little construction project of my own underway, but nothing like yours, just a little envious over here...😁
