I have an idea to build a true refrigerated cold smoker with an old side by side refrigerator the idea is to place a smoke daddy on the top side of the freezer half shoot the smoke directly into a coiled aluminum dryer vent hose that would run down the length of the freezer. Poke a hole low on the wall of the refrigerator half place a small fan to bring the chilled smoke into the refrigerator section with and vent out of the top of the refrigerator with the stack. Does anyone see any problems with this concept. Or ideas for improvement? Please let me know.

Thank you

java, evening and welcome to the forum.....   About the cold smoker.....  Cold smoking is usually done at temps from 50-70 deg F...  The smoke daddy, I have heard and seen pictures, creates creosote...   bad for smoked foods....  I would recommend one of Todd's smoke generators.... link attached to his site...    AMAZIN

Please stop in to  "  Roll Call   " to introduce yourself and get a proper welcome from our members....   also adding your location in your profile will help in the future to answer questions concerning smoking foods  when temp, humidity etc could be of concern....    This is a great forum with knowledgeable members that will help should any concerns arise....  enjoy the long smokey ride....    Dave
