Hot Dogs: Side by side comparison

Used to love Sabretts but can't get them out here anymore.
Sabretts, Hebrew National, Nathans, our kids knew the difference.
The worst is Dodger dogs. Guaranteed if you finish one you'll have a stomach ache.

Had a couple Nathans at NYNY in Vegas about 20 years ago and they were $8 each and we didn't care for them. Read that: $8 Twenty years ago!

On Coney Island in NYC next to Nathans is Petes. Half the price and a way better hot dog.

In high school I worked at a Orange Julius shop.
Mr Patman made the Hot Dogs for the chain and a special chili that came in a frozen 1' X 10" X 6" block.
Both outstanding tasting products.
The Chili Dog of the Movie and TV & rock stars. I delivered to all kinda famous people South of Ventura Bl.

Mr Patman had a Cadillac with a really long trunk converted to an dry ice chest and made his own deliveries.
In my pea sized brain nothing will ever top Mr Patman's Hot Dogs and Chili..

Not sure exactly where you're at , but I'm thinking you have to have some local options .
Quick search of Publix in Fayetteville shows
Hoffman
Sahlens
Sabbrett
3 That I've heard of , and have had the Sahlens . Chef JJ used to talk those up .
They had others that looked interesting too .
Check your Publix , or search the brand with your zip code .

Edit , Sometimes the brands will pay up to have their own displays or sections . So they might not always be in with the other brands . Make sure to check the Deli section also .

No Publix in Missouri , but when I get down South I consider it a tourist attraction .
