Making a Fatty

When you smoke a fatty do if you put hash browns inside do you cook them before or just put shreded potatoes inside. Thanks in advance for answering I appreciate it very much.

I've only used hashbrowns once and I fried them a bit first. Turned out perfect.

I precook and cool Hashbrowns first as well. Takes away the raw potato flavor...JJ

I cook mine before i stuff them in my fatty , that way i get some of the hasbrown crunch .
