yo dudes and dudettes,
my "bullet style" char-broil electric smoker is outside all year long.

i cover when not in use, with 33 gallon garbage bag.
i use bungee cords to hold bag on smoker.

whats a good clean and lube schedule??

how thouroly should i clean the inside??

top is getting hard to pull off the body, due to smokey gunk build up.
smoke still escapes.

should i do more than coat with veggie oil???===1 time a year.

With my ECB and the GOSM it's 'Greased Lighting' (a degreaser found at Homers Depot) and the power washer. On the gunk buildup that defies the degreaser and the powerwasher gets attacked by a plastic window scraper (the type that you use to remove snow and ice from a car windshield).

i can say the only thing i have done with mine was scrape all the gook off the bottom it was getting prety thick down there.

ive had mine a little less then a year now and its just a cheep one.
