Mailbox Mod and Smoker Temp

I added a mailbox mod to my MES 30.  The smoke with the AMNPS is going great.  However, I can't get the smoker temp past 200 now.  Any thoughts?

That sounds odd. I'm sure one of the MES 30 gurus will be along soon.

I disconnected the mailbox and put the chip loader back in its hole.  The temp is going up normally now.  I removed the chip loader and reconnected the mailbox.  The temp is still going up and smoke is coming out the top of the smoker as it should [from the AMNPS in the mailbox].  It's almost like I had to get it going with the chiploader in and then the mailbox could be attached.  I dunno.  Maybe my MES 30 is on its way out and is acting finicky.

I think you may be right on the MES is ready to die!
