When using mailbox mod, what do you use to produce smoke, dust or pellets?  Was hoping to use pellets to both cold and hot smoke, but not sure it will produce enough draft to keep pellets going.  Anyone try this yet?

Thanks for your input.

I have used the AMNPS with pellets and dust and the AMNTS with pellets. They all work well depending on the weather conditions. The AMNPS doesn't like wind or humidity so I use the tube on those days. I have also used a small computer fan in the mailbox to help keep the pellets going when cold smoking.

It works really good. I could've got a better fit on the hole and tube but I culdn't find the proper hole saw. Even with the oversized hole I have no issues. I have stuffed tinfoil around the end to stop leakeage but have found it doesn't really matter. i use a small wad of foil at the back to hold the tube off the bottom of the mail box. This setup is easy to light. Just load the tube in through the hole and torch.

I like that lighting method. I always seem to drop burning pellets on my feet trying to get it into the box.

I have been using the AMNPS to keep the tube off the bottom and it works great.
