I'm looking for a hardwood lump charcoal supplier that either ships at a reasonable rate or is local to northeastern Pennsylvannia/ Northern NJ.  Does anyone have any input?

You might try Walmart or Sams , my local stores have i in stock , but mostly durung the summer when everone is Cooking outside.

Thanks all... I do usually go to either lowes or Walmart but figured maybe I would be able to go straight from a distributor and cut the cost a bit as well as keeping a better stock at the house!

If cutting the cost is what yer looking for...switch to Kingsford Blue...

I quit using lump a few years ago and get the KB at Lowes once a year when they have the 2 for 1 sale on the big bags...

Thanks Craig but isn't that loaded with chemicals? Or is that an old wives tale??? Not for nothing nobody REALLY knows what some of these people may add to lump anyways!

Wow some interesting stuff there!!! So now I understand that everyone has a different opinion; however, what I got out of it is that there's not too much of a difference in the makeup of the two it's really all in how it's made.
