Hello everybody,

As the name suggests, I reside in California - rural northern. I'm new to smoking myself and I only own a Weber kettle grill I intend to rig with fire bricks and foil to indirect cook. I plan on working my skills and trying all the rubs, sauces, and methods possible before investing in a better offset cooker.

I appreciate any tips!

I think the majority of us have at least one kettle, and a lot of us started out learning to smoke on one too.
