I am picking up the WSM 18.5 in a couple of weeks for the upcoming Spring season! I am looking for a good, well-rounded BBQ book, sort of like a bible. Something that has recipes, techniques, etc., or anything specific to the WSM? I would consider myself a beginner, I have 1 season under my belt! Are there any books out there that anyone can recommend? Thanks!

I think I looking for mainly recipes, and techniques secondarily, maybe 3/4 recipes and 1/4 techniques. Here are a few books I am looking at:

Smoke and Spice

Sauces, Marinades, and Rubs for Dummies

Slow Fire: The Beginners Guide to BBQ

The Barbecue Bible or any other book by Steven Raichlen, I have had mine for about 3 years and it is literally falling apart I have used it so much. Dr. BBQ Ray Lampe is another great author. Also if you haven't done Jeff's Free Smoking Basics eCourse, I would highly recommend it. Happy Smoking!

Ton's of recipes here.  Anything in particular you are looking for?

Also there are a lot of WSM owners here too.  I have a 18.5" WSM I bought in 2005.
