Well I had about the busiest weekend I’ve ever had I believe. Up at 3am and to work Saturday morning. Training grounds at 10am to do some work on the road, and then train and back to the farm by 630ish to plant potatoes and sweet corn. Finished up at dark and by the time I was done drinking beers it was 2:58am. Made it 24 straight hours. Gets harder as you get older.

Back up Sunday morning early and headed back to train. Finally arrived home at about 630pm Sunday evening and opened the barn and started the charcoal chimney.

Wife wanted some cedar plank salmon. I had her drop some bone in ribeyes in the sv around 430pm while I was training so by the time the salmon was around 135 degrees I pulled the ribeyes out of the bath and seared them.

Been cold here in Michigan. It’s nice to have good bbq weather again. Here’s a few pics I took on this busy weekend.

It’s been a long day at this point. Getting a little thirsty.

Nice salad the wife made. Be better when the garden is producing in a few months.

The payoff. Salmon, ribeye, baked tater, some cheesy broccoli, and rice.

Long weekend and this is the time of year it’s only getting longer for me. Not sure how much I’ll be around here for a while. Enjoy your spring boys!

Looks like a fine meal especially after a day like you had.

Point for sure.

Thanks moto, & 44. It was nice to have a little time to sit outside and use the grill. I was smoked Monday after work. In bed by 5pm! Lol! Finally back to normal today!

Thanks Al!

Nice to finally get the weather to kick off grilling season here.

Thanks Richie!

The wife would eat salmon daily! And I sure would eat ribeye daily!
