Ok, so I've been a way for a while...

Got hit by the big ice storm last week. It's going to take a month of weekends to clean up my yard. Lost power Wednesday night, got it back on Friday thanks to my aunt that works for the electric company! Our cable connection got ripped off the pole by a fallen limb, and finally got that fixed today! Thank goodness, I was starting to have withdrawls.

I navigated my way here after checking my email to find that i couldn't log in for some reason. When i typed in my email, to make sure I was indeed using the right password and all that, it said the email address was not recongnized. So i had to start all over again and create a new profile. Is this a common problem? Has anyone else had this problem?

Some good news is a little grocery store down the road had a meat sale!

I got....
2 Butts @ 99c / #
10#'s of bacon for $10
1 whole New York Strip for $35
15#s of pork Chops - $25
I don't remember how many chicken breasts I got, but they were on sale for $1 a pound.

I asked about pork bellies (for bacon) while I was there. They get them by the case (60#'s) @ $1.19 a pound. Is that a good price or should I look elsewhere?

Its good to be back....

Welcome back glad you made it sounds like a rough time around there.

Good to have you back my friend. Nice score on the meat sale.

everyone's had connection problems :-)
major forum problems - but hopefully now fixed :-)

All you prices look excellent to me - and the acid test is really are the pork bellies better value there than other shops in your area.
