Yes I clipped the tendions and removed the thin boneThose look really good. I prefer to lollipop my drumsticks too. When I'm through with the prep I take a sausage pricker and poke a lot of holes in the skin, so it's more bite through. In addition to snipping the tendons, do you also remove the little 1" toothpick looking bone?

Yes, they are sharp.... I use a paring knife when prepping and once I see the top of the small bone, I run my blade between it and the leg bone as deep into the meat as I can go, then twist the knife (the same motion as turning a key) and a lot of the time the little bone will break.
