login question

why is it I log in , reply to a topic ,hit submit. it shows me the screen to log in again AGAIN ! after writing a paragraph answer to a topic. am I the only one this happens to , or what causes it?

There appears to be a timeout in this forum to answering questions. I equate it to keep bots & spam out. That is my thought.

We'll have to see if Brian knows the answer to this question.. I sometimes stay logged in for hours at a time while I am working on other things so I am wondering if it has anything to do with the "cookie" settings.

What browser are you using?

Anyone else having this problem?

That used to happen to me when I was posting a new thread and would take to long and I would have to do it again and again and that really suxed. But if you click on remember me at the beginning where you sign in then it will give you all the time you need to post whatever you want.

This has happened to me a few times... in fact it just happened to me moments ago...

I thought it was just me and my browser cookies acting up. It is interesting to see others having the same issues. Lets post our browser and OS and see if we can identify a trend.

I'm using Firefox version 3.6.2 and Windows 7
