Nothing special on this one. Had some store bought Johnsonville mild Italian sausage that needed to be cooked so I figured I would throw it on the smoker last night. Also pulled out of the freezer some hot Italian sausage and some chorizo too while I had the smoker fired up.

These things turned out awesome. Used mesquite pellets took about an hour and a half to get them to 165 at 240F. Cut some of them up and put them in an Alfredo pasta and got the rest chilling in the fridge.

I also got these suckers marinating to smoke up this weekend!

Your killin me ! First the sausage looks great . I came in to cool down from cuttin grass in 90 plus temps . Had to make myself walk by the beer fridge , and the Beam bottle on the counter .
YOU post pics with Yuengling and Makers Mark ! :)
Great way to do sausage .

Haha I didn't even notice that makers bottle was sitting there when I took that pic. Its so dang hot here too figured I would hit the cold beers while I was outside and then do a little whiskey sipping inside in the AC.

Good choice in whiskey!

Also good way to take a run of the mill sausage and improve it!

Looks really good to me, simple and tasty.

Point for sure.
