Lifter meat?

I am going to be getting some lifter meat from a friend. I have never heard of this meat before and I want to see if anyone has ever smoked this meat before. Any advice would be so helpful and appreciated!

Thank you for that link! I did do that but I was asking for more smoking advice and if anyone has ever smoked it...I figured I would ask the forum for personal experience.

Flat Iron steak is a more commonly used name for lifter steak/meat, at least in my neck of the woods.
