So I have a grill. Its 1/2 of a 250 gallon propane tank. My uncle built it. What i want to do is add a FB to this existing grill.

I have a piece of 20 inch diameter pipe 1/2 inch thick . For the FB.

the desired outcome is something like this.

Added a baffle. Please excuse the crappy welding. Well I wouldn't call it welding. More like sticking metal together with electricity. I haven't welded since middle school. I'm using a stick welder which probably is not the best for what I'm doing. Just trying to learn as I go.

So I also have a question for the experienced metal workers. Since my FB is 1/2 thick. Will I have a problem using 3\16 for the ends and the door?
