Now that these have been out for a while, I decided to give one a try. Mine arrived with what appears to be mis-cut threads since my retainer ring will not even start. Poor China QC. I'm sure that LEM will take care of it, they are a great company to work with.

How are the folks that bought one of these doing with them? Impressed? I'm looking forward to some 'one and done' grinding.

I have the old style and had to buy the whole grinding body. That said, it’s a fantastic tool. Absolutely worth the investment.

Thanks. It seemed like a great idea. Yes, they brought those full grinder bodies out first and they cost almost as much as I spent on my grinder! I saw that adapter the other day and figured I'd splurge.

Once they find me an adapter in inventory that will thread, I'll be putting it through its paces.

The new set up is the smartest way forward. All I can say is that the dual grind, however you have it , is a real nice tool to have. Plus , LEM is quality equipment, can’t really go wrong. I have both heads and run the dual grind almost exclusively.

LEM corrected the fit issue. My old ring must have been on the low end of tolerances and the dual grind adapter was on the high end. They sent a new ring and all's good.

Had a chance to try it out this afternoon and it is sweet. Made quick work of a batch of pork. Shaved quite a bit of time off my process. Looks like a keeper to me.

I’m looking for a new meat grinder. I grind around 3-5 deer a year. I want one that I don’t have to cut the meat up super small. What do y’all use? Mainly grind for burger.

Biggest one you can afford….. with a grinder the more expensive they are the beefier they are and the more they can handle…. It’s all in lb/min …. I have a LEM #32 never let me down wish I had a bigger one lol
