From Northern California (Sacramento) and I've always wanted to BBQ better and learn how to smoke.  I've never smoked anything before and didn't want to buy a smoker because I'm too broke to spend $200+ on a smoker even though I spent close to $100 on material and a LOT more in my time, but I'm happy and it's all mine...

I have a first time build thread here --> http://www.smokingmeatforums.com/t/130492/new-smoker-new-build-need-suggestions
