Latches WSM 22

Hi All I'm thinking of latching my middle section to the bottom bowl ..I saw a post some where on, can't find it.
The reason I'm latching is I put a hinge on the WSM some times when I open the top the middle section moves away for the bottom bowl. It is a MPIA when it does happen.

I have been looking around as well for these....My problem occurs when i'm pushing mine around ( have it on wheels).. I have not seen the ones you linked before.. After looking at the one you linked, it doesn't appear to be very strong .( although it may be ). I think the one from cajun bandit would make darn sure it wont separate .

Hi I'm not too concerned about the lifting part.It is just when at times when I open the lid,the middle section moves.

I thought so too. It actually works. I squeezed the pre bent area a little more to get it to seat better on the bottom lip.
just remember to take it off if you have to place the mid section on the ground because it hangs below the bottom edge.
So it looks like it works. Got mine yesterday looked a little flimsy to me.Now I feel soo much better.

Hi All I finally got a chance to put the clip on..Took 3 tries the bottom part wouldn't sit too good on the bottom bowl. The clip moves some around the bottom of the bowl. I'l find out tomorrow how good the clip works went I use the WSM.
