When my son in law bought this house and spent 2 years doing some renovations he put in a new AC & Furnace. He also had a floor guy install tile in the middle room, dining and kitchen. I told him its going to get cold...Yup I was right.

Anyways

For proofing my bread I have a Brod & Taylor proofer but it only holds 1 bowl, not insulated and I broke the side hinge around the surround.

So
I got a heat mat and used a large black tote. There again not insulated so it took time to heat up

So

A friend sent me an Amazon link for this foldable proofer. It has a top window, zippered, digital control, thermo probe inside, insulated all around, heats from both sides and the bottom, comes with 2 wire racks and a small SS bowl for if you need moisture. The control is able to unhook from the bottom so when you fold it into the carry case.

Great $79 purchase. And im thinking will work for fermenting sausage....EH

The black probe is on the back wall.
