So its been a busy week and I wasn't able to post last weeks smoke before completing this weeks smoke....
Have been experimenting with a Captain Morgan, Dr Pepper, and orange juice marinade....drag it thru a good portion of the spice cupboard to thicken it up....well, all I can say is its fantastic. Collect the drippins and turn them into BBQ sauce.....wow.....
So without further delay, onto last weeks feast....(pics in no particular order)
Cut in 1/2 to reduce time - was a late start.
Smoked with Cherry chunks and a bit of Peach chips. Ran at temps 215-230.
Pulled at 145 and foiled to 152. Let it rest and cut in the low 130's...tender and juicy.
These meats were from Kroger...I've not personally cared for their ribs but the Pork Loin was great.
And finished up with some chicken breasts and legs and a few potatoes. These ran around 300.
