Rich, the wafting smoke was wonderful on both days. The woods used in the smoker was white oak for the heat and a mix of maple and plum for flavor.
Sunday when I was smoking the ABT's, chicken, burnt ends and the beans, my neighbor was grilling chicken on his grill. He turned around and said, "Why couldn't you have smoked that stuff up yesterday when we weren't home?" When I told him that I did have the smoker running on Saturday, he just hung his head and said "This is so unfair. "
