Kroger Beef Short Ribs

Saw some kalbi style marked at $3.99 / lbs. Went to the meat counter and found they had 6 uncut crypto packs. I got 3 Because I was unsure of freezer space. I had to pick up a whole hog this afternoon. It’s open and I have room so I’m getting the other three now. Hell of a deal. Not sure if this was just a local thing or not. Definitely worth checking if you have a local store

I pulled 3 chuck roasts out to thaw earlier or I’d be doing some this weekend. I like the beef ribs so much I am very basic on them. SPOG and a light dusting of espresso.

No room in my freezers for a whole hog.
Don't see decent beef prices around here unless local grocery chain has a sale. Kroger a long long drive for me.
The last ribs I got was a few months ago and horrible quality.
Hope they work for you.

I got the same thing, 1 two-pack, at my local Fred Meyer store (which is owned by Kroger.) You got a better price than I did, though. Planning on smoking them tomorrow.

It helps to know the Head Meat person. I run the Meat dept down by the Hospital in Findlay( 40 minutes fromTiffin)
