Home Depot is running a sale, today only, on Knotty Wood it n both almond and plum. Both are amazing and I use them as much as lumberjack. They are $15 a bag delivered. The plum puts amazing color on pork. The almond is great on anything.

I've smoked with just about every fruit wood imaginable but I've never run across any plum. Now I gots ta know!!!! Plum trees are rare around here. I'd like to try fig too but I've never seen a fig tree in South Carolina.

The flavor is great but the color it gives is unreal. Mix it with cherry and you’ll think someone dyed your pork.
