Kitchener 9" slicer

Does anyone have experience with the Kitchenere 9" slicer?

I am new to slicers: when it says 9" does that mean the bacon slab can be up to 9" wide? Or is it the usable slice length actually less?

Might I suggest you ask DaveOmak he has one about that size, but I think another brand and I believe he's been extremely pleased with it. I assume you are currently shopping for one and he could at least give you an alternative. If someone one has a great one, might be worth looking at?
