Yes, I know a dedicated stuffer would be better, but this is all I have for now and we're dirt poor, so a new stuffer isn't in the immediate future.
Anyway, I have the KA grinder with the stuffer attachment. I used it once with the 5/8" tube. Put it in the dishwasher and I guess the force of the water knocked it up and over the side of the rack and it landed on the heating element in the bottom. You can guess the rest. So now all I have is the 3/8" tube. Can I use this tube to stuff natural hog casings? I'm referring to the size one would normally use for bratwurst. I'd guess it'll take longer, but will it fill them?
