IDS, Nice job on making the hard effort to lose that extra weight. I need to do it also but probably will have to have some serious health issue to get me in gear . :(

Well my friend....once you truly make the decision, the rest is easy. I knew it was possible with the keto diet because my cousin lost 45# in less than a year. He was doing what they call "dirty Keto"....eating seed oils, fast food burger without the bun, etc...and still lost a hell of a lot of weight.
It all started for me researching minerals and vitamins. I happened upon a youtube channel of a keto guy...he posted a challenge video...'what would happen if you gave up carbs.' What he was saying made a hell of a lot of sense to me about metabolic dysfunction, so I took the challenge. I learned a lot as I started out. I became very rigid in what I ate. Quit sugar and carbs. cold turkey. Now, 6 months later, I am down to 160#. I now weigh less than I did in High School. The ONLY exercise I do is I try to walk 1.5-2 miles per day.....that is it. Walking is the best aerobic exercise for weight loss-especially if you do it in the morning in a fasted state.
