Made this last week and the taste is so good I am getting addicted to it. Started out making a strong coffee. Used 1:15 ratio coffee to water using my Bunn. This the coffee and sugar I used:

Used two 2 cups of the coffee and put in 1.5 cups sugar. Let cool. Added about 1 tsp vanilla. Than add about 1 3/4 cup Vodka. I used SVEDKA. Mix this all up. This is getting better everyday.

Sounds good Brian! We started using Stevia in our kahlua.

1.5 cups sugar? seems sweat? Svedka is my go to, Buy it several cases at a time when I visit my son in NH? $16.99/1.75 liter no tax at all

Just got back from NH. Loaded up Svedka,Kahlua and Baileys. Love a good mudslide on occasion.

yeah my son hates it when we give him $700 orders. He is a middle school teacher and sometimes runs into some of his students at the liquor store...lol

Regular Kahlua has a lot of sugar. Most recipes are more than twice that amount. Really does not taste that sweet.

Not a "sweet" drinker here but have enjoyed my share when I did.

I think I tried the Monkfruit sweetener at one point in my low carb journey. It didn't stick with me for some reason. I can taste non-sugar sweeteners where others seem to not (as exampled by the huge sugar free soda market). I have yet to find a carbonated artificial sweetened beverage I can stand to drink, even the ones with sucralose.

There is a sweetener called BochaSweet that has a clean flavor I can stand. Very expensive though. I was introduced to it on a low carb forum as crucial to making good, sugar free ice cream. That's pretty much all I use it for and I dont even eat most of the ice cream! Not much of a sweet tooth here, generally.

The BochaSweet will also render as a simple syrup very well. I used to to make margaritas...but dont make those much anymore. My alcohols of choice are much simpler these days.

I'm wondering about the peach spirits . I've been doing 1 gallon beer brews with Sam's help .
Great results so far .

I just make a sugar wash than distill it. I use these Essence's made by either Liquor Quik or Prestige. I buy the big one of peach since that my favorite but I have several others that are good.
