Keeping pellets dry

I use old milk jugs that have been cleaned and dried then put a bit of plastic film on before screwing the cap on good.  I found that the pellets worked holes into plastic bags because of all the moving around.

I made this post (below) 3 1/2 years ago. I use these jugs for Dust and/or Pellets:

For those of you who have an "A-MAZE-N-SMOKER", or any other dust burning smoke generator, This is how I keep my powder (Dust) dry. Humidity will effect how the dust burns.


Right now I have about 40 jugs in a metal cabinet in my garage. The left side is Dust, and the right side is Pellets.

Looks like this weekend for the shakedown cruise for my MES 30 / AMNPS .

Thanks again Bear, Its just keep's getting better as I ordered my "A-MAZE-N-SMOKER" and pellets today, so now the problem of keeping power dry has been solved. I have a lot of jugs like the Bear uses,
 
Well I couldn't wait for the weekend to try out my AMNPS /MES30 on a Sirloin Tip Roast (21/2 lb.) Smothered in my rub.

Pre-heated the smoker to #225, lit my Apple pellets, waited til they got glowing and inserted AMNPS.

31/2 hours in the smoker to 135 deg.roast temp, never had to open the door.

It was AWESOME!, moist & tender, along with a tater/sour cream & salad.

Sorry I didn't supply some pics, camera & computer are not getting along.

If it wasn't for you guys on the forum, this would be a lot harder. I thank you all again.
