Ok not talking pork but my own butt. With the upcoming winter colder weather I'm looking into extending my patio use and keeping warm when smoking. This has brought me to a heater search. Obvious are the propane types then electric. Then f into the radiant vs infrared. I would like to hang an infrared from the ceiling of my pavillion. I already have 110 avaible with really nothing on but over head led light and sometimes led TV. If I found a 240 I would run a circuit for that. Anyone on here have real world experience with consumer grade infrared heaters. I know the commerical stuff works but that's out of my price range of 300 or less. Most of what I see are 110V around the 130 to 160 dollar range.

I am a huge fan of the Bromic heaters but they are outside of your budget. I got tired of replacing the inexpensive Home Depot stuff every few years. I have a freestanding Bromic that runs on propane but they make electric wall mounted ones that are 220. High quality stuff that will last and they put out a tremendous amount of directed heat.

I usually just wear a pair of regular old Long Johns. In my garage I used to use a kerosene salamander heater when I worked on the vehicles.
