I Just joined the Smokers Meat Forum. I would appreciate any information on how to start a good hot fire in my Smoker. I have to reload charcoals about a half hour after I start the fire in the firebox. It takes me more than an hour to get a good and hot fire going to get the temp up to at least 200 degrees. Why is it so hard for me to get my smoker up to cooking Temp? Can Anyone give any tips on this.
