In prior mil. Attached a pic. The 6 stars on the bottom of my coin is old school representation of a Navy group I spent alot of time at.
Not wanting a political debate, not gonna argue or try to convince anyone to change parties or beliefs.
Curious as to member here on their opinions on gun ownership. Not specifics.
To start, my stance. AR's. Most understood weapon in modern society. Assault Rifle. A term coined by anti gun advocates for the firearm. (Research it, not gonna waste time on that).
Background checks. All the proposals are pretty much what's in place already.
Whenever "full auto" is mentioned, I lose respect for that news source.
There are two documented uses of a full auto weapon in the US for defensive use. A rep having a mini 14 was involved in a road rage incident that I cant find on 1 page of Google and Harry Beckwith.
AR's. Common are 5.56. A round pretty much the same as a .22, traveling faster. The damage comes from an effect called cavitation.
The round impacts and causes a shock wave damaging body parts.
I am not arguing one way or another, just stating facts one hope of educated replies.
To put some perspective. I grew up hunting. Deer, hogs, birds.
If you have made it this far, curious on membere opinions.
Not gonna jump in and start an argument.
