I WAS JUST CURIOUS IF ANYONE WENT AND BOUGHT OR KNOW ANYONE THAT BOUGHT THE LOUISIANA GRILL VERTICAL PELLET SMOKER YET?

I just purchased the Series 7 one from Costco. It appears to be a rebranded Pit Boss Series 7 with some extras. All specs look the same except it is silver instead of gold. It came with two probes and a cover. My electric smoker had died and my wife showed me the add. $450 but only in stores. I had to go to three Costcos to find one in stock. This thing is huge.

The new Louisiana compared to the broken Charbroil electric.

It is easy to roll it away and cover it for storage.

I did the initial burn in today and will smoke a 7Lb butt tomorrow to test it out.

Nice lookin smoker . Interested to see it work . Plans for the old one ?

I will test it and see if there is something wrong with the wiring or if the heating element is bad and go from there. the controller works, it just doesn't heat up at all.

While I don't have the vertical smoker, I do own a Louisiana Grill pellet smoker (Competition Pro). I have nothing but good things to say about it. They build a quality product. Louisiana Grills and Pit Boss are owned by the same parent company (Dansons) but are distinctly different products. Personally, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase another LG product.
