I am doing the seasoning thing and cannot get the remote to work. Did everything the owners manual said and still no luck. Any advise?

I know with mine the remote had a problem keeping contact with the batteries inside of it. Like they wouldn't actually touch the contacts. Jam some aluminum could in there and see if that helps. If not you have a busted remote.
