Hello all. I have read many posts here, the information is great. I just started smoking this past summer with a little cheapie two door vertical. I modified the wood pan and lined the doors and smoker with high temp felt. It helped a lot and I have made some good food. But I want a more consistent product and to be able to smoke in the winter here in Ohio. This spring I plan on building a double walled insulated unit with 11 gauge steel and rock wool. Just the materials will be expensive so it may take a while. I look forward to sharing my progress and for all of your input!
