Cooked some chicken on the ol' CB infrared this afternoon with a new seasoning of my own doing.....tsp of this, tsp of that. Onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, brown sugar, kosher salt, pepper, and a touch of chili powder. Came out great!

It was! The veggies came out as good or better than the chicken....tried some wood chips in an aluminum pouch on the grill to add some smokiness...never started smoking. Got to get that figured out.
 
Everything looks delicious!

Sometimes I put a chunk of wood right on the grate above a burner & get good smoke.

No foil needed, just a chunk of wood.

I'll try that next time Al. I have some hickory and mesquite chips that I need to use and was trying it out with a foil wrap.
