Junior Pitmaster's First Cook In Texas - Party Ribs

[Quiganomics]

She's been itching to get on the Pit Boss that was left here at the new place by the previous owners, so after church we stopped and grabbed some spare ribs. She wanted to do them as party ribs, so here we go!

Cut them up and seasoned with our Ribee-Kiy-Yay blend.

About 90 minutes in, alongside some corn.

Time to pull them for the next step.

And into a foil pan with some butter, more of the Ribee blend, and some of Franklin's Original Sauce cut with some agave and apple juice.

And done. With a baked potato and ear of corn.

She said if she had to rate herself, she'd give it an 8, because it's off a pellet grill and not an off-set. 11 years old and she's already a purist

Thanks, she says she's now ready to attempt her first solo brisket. Depending on the weather (we're in the path of the tropical storm this coming weekend) I may let her loose on one this Saturday.
