Welcome slideman to SMF and congrats on that first and what sounds like a successful smoke!  They won't all be that good, but then again I say even poorly done smoked food is better than none at all. The learning process doesn't stop for many of us and I hope you enjoy that MES and many, many smokes!   I'd suggest looking into getting an Amaze-N-Smoker as it will help out you ever growing list of what you can do.  

Now, the very next thing you need is a camera...consider it just another "tool" for your smoker - we love q-view!!!!!!
