Hi,

Interested in building my own offset smoker....

Retired vocational teacher.....34 years in the schools of Texas...8 years as metal shop teacher...

Anyone close to Dallas are in the DFW that has built a few offsets pits....

I would appreciate any guidance or suggestions from someone that lives close....

I have a 20' x 30' shop in the backyard...

Gas welding rig, LINCOLN PRECISION TIG 225...

I always loved Metal shop in school.
We had foundries and casting was a lot of fun and challenging.

Anyways... Plenty of people here who can give you some guidance.
