Forget who gave me the idea but this is pork loin pounded thin, rubbed, grilled, and sauced. Still working out the kinks but this will be regular fair. The other sandwich I ate got BBQ sauce on the bun and was MUCH better. Aiming for sorta a premium McRib flavor. Plan to try other ways. Pork loin from GFS was $1.79/lb. Got 8 sandwiches out of 1/3 of it!

That reminds me. We haven’t had a pork loin sandwich in awhile. Those look good. Congrats on the carousel ride.

Very nice samich...... everything a McRib wants to be right there! Sign me up for a double with a vinegar-based sauce.... Oh some sliced peppercini's would be a nice add to!

Looks amazing... making stomach growl

WOW. Thanks for all the kind words and ride. Did not expect that at all. Simply was thank you to the member who originally posted the idea. Cannot locate the thread. I swear it was called racetrack sandwich or something like that.

Years ago, when the USPSA/IPSC nationals were held at PASA Park in IL, the lunches they served were grilled. Your choice of burgers or pork chop sandwiches. The burgers were good the the pork chops were outstanding.
