Ham is precooked, sliced, & on sale. What else can I do with it besides a ham sandwich ?
Bet she used the same recipe as my ex-MIL.My ex mother in law used to make ham jerky for Christmas . Seemed to come natural for her .
It's good . I do it with a lot of the lunch meat stuff I make . Pastrami makes really good jerky as does the ground formed bacon . I just do it in the oven and dry it to my liking .I feel like ham slices in the dehydrator would make a decent jerky.
I made jerk and Asian jerky from loin and I LOVE it. Way cheaper than beef jerky too.I would think jerky would work fine for it. I've madeBearcarver pork loin jerky and really like it!
