I got home from work early today and decided to throw three racks of BB ribs into the smoker. I'm running the AMNPS with some Pitmaster pellets. It's had it's moments staying lit but I think it's running good now. The temp is about 29 and the MES 40 is keeping up just fine. The warmup time was a bit long at 40 minutes but the temp is holding well at 225. Decided to smoke tonight because of the winter storm predicted for tomorrow night and Sunday. Life is good!

Winter Storm...Here?

It's gonna take a few adjustments to get the airflow, but once you get it dialed I, you're gonna dig the little gadget

Afraid so on the winter storm. As for the AMNPS I need to do some more smoking to get it right every time. I had the loader out about two inches and the tray out about an inch or two. The air was pretty heavy and cold so I pulled the AMNPS restoked it and let it burn for a good fifteen minutes. Put it back and it was off and running. I need to learn to make those small adjustments for better burn.
