I just moved to Orange Park, Fl. from Alabama. I was born in Illinois but spent most of my life in the west. I worked in sales and the Casino business most of my life. Spent 20 years doing wedding photography, but my legs won't let me do it any longer. Photography is my main hobby. For the last six years I've been using Lump Charcoal to BBQ with and feel it's time to try something else. I'm going to start small (Probably a Brinkman Electric) and then see what happens. As you can probably guess Jimbo 70 means I've reached the big 7-0, HOW DID THAT HAPPEN?

Welcome to the SMF Family...With your photographic experience we know we can count on Plenty of QVIEW! Guys love the Eye Candy around here. Take the Free 5 Day eCourse. It covers smoking basics and is a good start. Might I suggest you read a bit about the different types of Smokers, Gas, Electric, Wood or Charcoal burners. Although many of us started on a El-Cheapo Brinkman (ECB) it is not the most user friendly Smoker and we don't want you to get frustrated and stop smoking because of it. Do a Search for ECB or Brinkman Electric and see what you think...Good Luck!...JJ
