found these fresh at my local grocery store in the fresh meat case and gave them a try on the smoker and man they turned out awesome with a bottle of Marinara Sauce.

That's thinking outside the box. I love it! But I probably would have opted for a nice bottle of Chianti vice the bottle of Marinara.
I've smoked my Italian Meatball Meatloaf, but never thought about just smoking the meatballs. GREAT IDEA!
